Well, at least firs part of it is known. The best teacher I've ever had Peter Jones recommended to memorize it ant then pronounce to improve your speaking skills, he said that if you can say this fast then no problem with pronunciation will exist.

мы тоже в универе ее учили, теперь я своих студентов то же самое заставляю делать:)))) Но штука действительно очень полезная!)

ооу,надо будет выучить,я его раньше видела,даже поначалу дочитать до конца не смогла,об ошибках даже уже молчу

эта штука ) полезна тем, что в ней все самые трудные слова - в одном месте в рифму и вообще компактно представлены ))
слова - исключения, слова, что пишутся или читаются не по правилам, и т.д.
Не знаю, стоит ли учить наизусть, но ознакомиться очень полезно...
